Happy new year 2013!!!

Do you guys like the new header? We had an “in-the-zone” work session at Starbucks one afternoon.

I’m back in Philadelphia after a wonderfully relaxing winter break. So sunny, so nature-y, and although we couldn’t make it out to the red rocks in Sedona, I just need to come back another time. I didn’t finish my novel like I wanted to but I read a lot of good books (Laura and Alex are both huge readers) including this by Austin Kleon- we loved this line:

“If you have two or three real passions, don't feel like you have to pick and choose between them, don't discard. Keep all your passions in your life.”

This relates to our new year’s resolutions because we want to pursue our interests outside of our three different professional schools. Of course we want to rock our classes!!!- but without neglecting our passions outside of class. In 2013 we’ll work to figure out the delicate balance between school & life in our busy lives.

After our NYE celebration on Mill Ave & Hotel Palomar in downtown Phoenix, we got back to spend our last few hours together in Arizona before my flight this morning. Hilarious photo shoot ensued.

Just being normal…

2014- Laura graduates from law school. 2016 is for Alex & me!
But first we all have to be focus foxes this year.

And a normal one. I love them. Even after more than a year apart, we pick up just where we were. And I love that we encourage each other to help us grow.

In addition to our healthy resolutions, we made some bold resolutions (and acted on them the last few moments of 2012!!!)… ladies I’m looking forward to hearing all about this throughout the year.

I have class tomorrow! And now second semester of dental school (this semester is five months!) begins.
